The three-year process to amend Collier County’s 300 square mile growth plan for the Rural Lands Stewardship Area (RLSA) came to a close on July 13 when the Board of County Commissioners voted to approve amendments to the program.

Raccoons Found in Construction Debris
While excavating a 12-foot high pile of dirt, a construction worker found two young raccoons poking their heads out from under the debris. After texting the hospital with this photo, our staff decided the kits needed professional medical attention.
